Søren Ulrik Thomsen presents ’Shaken Mirror’
One of the most popular and cherished Danish poets, Søren Ulrik Thomsen once again visits Saint Petersburg. The incentive of his visit is the publication of his poems translated to Russian by Marina Tuyrina Oberlander.
On 15 October at 18:00 the Danish Cultural Institute hosts an artist talk with Søren Ulrik Thomsen and Marina Tuyrina Oberlander. The director of the Danish Cultural Institute Marie Tetzlaff will also participate. Free admission.
On 16 October at 18:30 Søren Ulrik Thomsen will speak at the round table talk ‘Contemporary Danish Literature’ at the Mayakovsky Library in dialogue with Svend Skriver, lector at the Institute for Nordic Studies and Linguistics at Copenhagen University. Marie Tetzlaff and Marina Tuyrina Oberlander will also participate. Free admission.
Søren Ulrik Thomsen and Marina Tuyrina Oberlander will also meets with students and lectors of the department of Scandinavian and Dutch Philology at the Saint Petersburg State University.
