We are looking for a trainee for August 2018 – January 2019
What we offer
As an intern at the Danish Cultural Institute in St. Petersburg, you will be participating in a wide variety of Danish-Russian cultural projects ranging from one-day events around the city to long-term projects around Russia.
Through the daily workflow you will gain experience with the many elements that are relevant to project coordination, implementation and evaluation; skills which hopefully will prove useful in your future professional life.
What we look for
The trainee has to be enrolled in a higher education and should have experience with Office applications and social media. Part of the responsibilities involve research, fundraising, and accounting. Since much of the daily work at the institute is in Russian, it is an advantage if the student has experience with the Russian language. However, since most of our projects are coordinated in cooperation with EUNIC or other English speaking partners it is not an absolute requirement.
St. Petersburg is a vibrant city known as the cultural capital of Russia. The office of the DCI is located in the city center right next to the Hermitage Museum and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.
The Institute cannot offer payment. However, the organization will pay for visa expenses and can also help the intern find housing.
Deadline for applications: 26 March 2018.
